The evil Autarch Sejanoz of Bhanar has launched a sudden and devastating attack upon Xo-lin’s ancient realm. With the tyrant’s armies swarming across his borders, the aged Xo-lin is forced to flee his imperial palace and seek sanctuary in the distant city of Tazhan.

We’ve published the last book in the Lone Wolf series! This comes 30 years after Flight from the Dark was first published in 1984 and nearly 15 years since the beginning of Project Aon in 1999. As always, we hope you enjoy.

But we at Project Aon are not done yet. We will soon begin working on the rest of the Freeway Warrior series, Joe Dever’s excellent post-apocalyptic gamebooks.

March 11, 2013: The Italian Videogame Developers Publishers Association (AESVI ) presented the second Italian edition of “The Golden Dragon Awards”, the official awards dedicated entirely to excellence in the world of video games in Italy.

The “Golden Dragon” is based on the established industry awards of other major countries, such as the American Golden Joystick awards and the British BAFTA Video Games Awards, which are greatly valued and appreciated by the gaming community worldwide.

The Golden Dragon is designed to reward the best video games published during the year and now includes 17 categories and a special section devoted to Italian video games.

A highly qualified jury chose the pick of nominees in each category, taking into consideration all the games released during the calendar year 2013. In February, the same jury determined the winners, which were announced during the final awards ceremony in Rome at the prestigious headquarters of ‘Auditorium MAXXI ‘– the National Museum of XXI Century Arts.

On behalf of the development team , Forge Reply, I am delighted to announce that ‘Blood on the Snow’ was the winner of the two most prestigious award categories:

Best Italian Indie Game of the Year

Best Game Design

Thank you all for your wonderful support for Blood on the Snow.

Gary Chalk’s Gun Dogs

gundogs_icon_blog

Gary Chalk and Tin Man Games have released a new gamebook app named Gary Chalk’s Gun Dogs.

So what is Gun Dogs and why should you read it? Jamie first approached us in 2011 and proposed a number of titles in collaboration with Gary. Gun Dogs shone out as something rather special and they both began work designing the world, with Jamie putting down the words and Gary sharpening the pencils and mixing the paints. It takes the traditional fantasy world of magic and monsters and twists it around a little, adding in a semi-renaissance flavour and most importantly the invention of guns! The story sees you charged with treason against the Empire and placed on death row. The Emperor has offered you a choice: die a slow and humiliating death or serve as a Gun Dog, an expendable soldier assigned impossible missions and tethered by a collar. Not just any collar mind you, but a magical device around your neck that will choke you to death if you disobey your orders. The story takes you across The Empire from Lentica to your destination at Fort Wylde, on a mission in which you meet many strange inhabitants of the world and visit bustling cities and dangerous forests.

More information available on the Tin Man Games website.
