Maps of Magnamund

The Maps of Magnamund Collection comprise 36 super-detailed colour maps of the World of Magnamund. Illustrated by Francesco Mattioli, they combine exquisitely intricate maps on the front, with a world grid and useful background information on the reverse. They cover many previously uncharted geographic features, plus special sites and locations never before revealed to Lone Wolf aficionados. There are also scenario seeds for the Lone Wolf Adventure Game.

The Maps of Magnamund Collection is produced in sets of 4 maps. They are licensed and sold by Cubicle 7 Entertainment Ltd., the company that publishes the Lone Wolf Adventure Game. Sets 1-7 are scheduled for publication in November 2015. You can pre-order Maps of Magnamund sets from Cubicle 7.

Alberto Dal Lago Wallpapers

Alberto Dal Lago has very generously given me his permission to use 10 of his magnificent artworks as Wallpapers (1920×1080) which you can download here for free. These comprise the covers of the Italian Lone Wolf Collectors’ Edition Books 1-8, Book 29, plus the new edition Freeway Warrior 1. There’s no better way to enjoy his magnificent artwork every day! The wallpapers have block colour left and right side margins which enable them to be used at all screen resolutions. The plain margins are great for placing desktop shortcuts where they can clearly be seen. I’ve now switched the wallpaper on my PC to LW29 (The Storms of Chai) and I’m amazed and fascinated by all the creatures that Alberto has woven into the stormy waters. So download, install and enjoy some of the best art that has ever graced the covers of my adventure books!

Flags of Magnamund

The Flags of Magnamund has been a long term project I’ve been working on for several years. I’m pleased to tell you that I’ve now completed all of the flags that comprise the main collection. I expect to be adding some secondary flags over the coming months, but I thought I’d share the index thumbnails with you as many fans have requested this info in the past.

What you’ll see in the Flags of Magnamund archive are my original flag designs. Francesco Mattioli and I intend to publish this collection in a glossy full colour book at some time in the future. Francesco will paint new (and much better!) flags for the book and I’ll write background text for each one.

Joe Dever Interviewed at Fascinating Nouns

Joe Dever recently sat for an interview for the Fascinating Nouns podcast. There are two parts to the interview, the main episode and some bonus material of Joe explaining the world of Magnamund, so make sure to check out both. It’s almost two hours of Lone Wolf and Joe Dever!

The Omega Zone published!

You are Cal Phoenix, the Freeway Warrior, champion and protector of Dallas Colony One. The third stage of your life-or-death exodus to the California coast takes your colony of survivors across the wastelands of New Mexico and Arizona, a region still blighted by lethal radioactivity. Can you find the safe route through to the sanctuary of Tucson, or will you and your people perish in the desolation of The Omega Zone?

After only four months since the last book (record time for us!), we’re publishing the next in Joe Dever’s series of post-apocalyptic Freeway Warrior gamebooks.

(Please note that we are not yet ready to publish these books in formats for e-readers like Kindle and Nook. We hope to be able to soon.)

For Dallas Colony One!

Wil Wheaton Among Lone Wolf Fans at Gen Con

One of the many Lone Wolf fans I met at Gen Con turned out to be none other than Wil Wheaton (Star Trek Next Gen, Stand By Me, Toy Soldiers, Big Bang Theory). You can tell by the look on Wil’s face just how big a Lone Wolf fan he is. He’s also a genuinely nice guy and we had a long chat about the Lone Wolf game books (he has them all) and the new Lone Wolf Adventure Game. Awesome, indeed!

Advance Copies of the Lone Wolf Adventure Game

Cubicle Seven have received advance copies of the Lone Wolf Adventure Game (LWAG) at their office in Swindon, UK. These were specially flown to them ahead of the main shipments so that they can check that everything is OK. And it certainly is!

Jon Hodgson (Art Director) is so delighted with the finished product that he took these photos for you to see straight away. Jon has also confirmed that the shipment has begun its journey to C7 warehouses in the USA and UK.

LWAG will be launched officially at this year’s Gen Con (Indianapolis July 30 – August 3). I will be there to chat with fans and sign copies of the game. It’s not often I get a chance to visit the States these days, so this is a rare opportunity to come and say ‘Hi’. And if you bring your Lone Wolf books with you, I’ll be very happy to sign them.

If you can’t make it to Gen Con, you can pre-order Lone Wolf Adventure Game.
