(ft)214:[jc: Tunnel Door should be immune for Mindblast and Psi-surge, as you are not attacking it, only trying to raise it off (and, apparently, the Discipline of Nexus could help you).]
[JohnTFS: If this is the door from The Kingdoms of Terror, it should be immune to Mindblast only, since if you have either Psi-surge or Nexus, you can clean the dirt away and raise it without a fight.]
[BK: No, this is in Castle Death, but based on the door in Kingdoms of Terror (sect 259), I think it would be reasonable to say that Psi-Surge is effective here, but only if you don't have Nexus.]
[DD: Hmmm. Given that the section explicitly mentions one discipline (Nexus), it would seem odd that Joe hadn't thought about Psi-surge too - which would imply that we should stick to the default position that Psi-surge and Mindblast can be used in this combat, as there's no note saying they can't. The situation is not quite analogous to the Tekaro sewer, as there you were trying to vibrate dirt from the door seal, whereas here you are trying to lever a portcullis-type door up off the ground. Indeed it's questionable whether weapon bonuses are applicable here too, never mind Psi-surge. I'd say Joe just decided to let that pass. Your weaponmastery is perhaps employed to wedge your weapon under the door in ingenious ways ;) ]
[John TFS: I just can't see Psi-surge working on something that doesn't have a mind or nervous system to attack.]
[jb: It could be argued either way. I don't know if we have anything useful to contribute here other than to link to the other section and say "Psi-surge may also be effective against this gate."]
(ne)254:all the way the surface -> all the way to the surface [LeRoy McSwain, Jan 2007]
(ft):257:[Francis Legault: Can the Towel from the Bathhouse in Book 5 be used instead of a Blanket?]
(ft)263:[pi4t: If you fail to answer the Zakhan's riddle, you can go by the sequence: 270, 242, 327, 184, 230 (using blue pills), 66, 263 (death by drowning) There is no indication of why the blue pills do not work, or that they wore off. Perhaps a footnote at 263 stating that if you arrived from 66, the pills wear off, would be useful? ( see here)]
[jb: This also affects 270, 242, 327, 184, 230 (using blue pills), 168, 263 (death by drowning). Rather than reference a particular section perhaps word the footnote like "If you have used a Vial of Blue Pills recently, their effects have worn off after being submerged for too long."]

(ne)286:[so: Wrong small illustration]

(ne)Footnote (Section 100):To turn to the section of your choice, there are several methods. One is to turn to the Table of Contents and choose the appropriate section from the list. If you have chosen the correct answer to the Zakhan's riddle, a footnote in that section will tell you so. -> The section corresponding to the correct answer to the Zakhan's riddle will have a footnote confirming that it is indeed correct.

(ne)Footnotes (Section 280):reduce the enemy's ENDURANCE score to zero -> reduce the enemy's ENDURANCE score to zero or below
(ne)Footnote (Section 306):To turn to the section of your choice, there are several methods. One is to turn to the Table of Contents and choose the appropriate section from the list. Rejected
(er)Equipment:[JC: In the Mongoose Publishing editions, there is no mention of the Fireseeds in the Equipment section (also affects Books 8 and 9).]
[Use is more widespread than at first thought.]
(ne)1:shimmering, green light -> shimmering green light [so: Reverse? "shimmering" is the adjective, "green light" is the noun] [jb: It seems like a valid use of a coordinating comma. I see the noun as "light" while "green" and "shimmering" are both equal modifiers, unless "shimmering" describes the color of green.]]
(er)73:Kakush vases -> Kakushian vases [so: cf. Section 293: Anarian] [jb: The only precedent specific to Kakush that I can find is in 299: "Kakush mercenaries".]
(er)83:part human, part animal -> part-human, part-animal [so: maybe?]
[jb: not necessary as far as I know]
(ne)135:green, forked [so: Reverse the Errata? Isn't "green" the adjective of the compound noun "forked lightning"? This may occur in other places also.]
(er)174, 317:sun-sword -> Sun-sword
(er)180:[so: What does the last sentence in parentheses mean?]
[jb: Section 13 lets you get here using either Animal Control or Psi-surge.]
(er)199:Kakush mercenary -> Kakushian mercenary [so: cf. Section 293: Anarian] [jb: I'm not sure this is strictly necessary.]
(er)322:If you wish to step over the beam of light and continue along the passage, turn to 88. If you choose to walk through the beam, turn to 240. -> If you wish to step over the beam of light and continue along the passage, turn to 240. If you choose to walk through the beam, turn to 88. [jc: I think there are reversed references. LW should be hurted, if he choose to go through the beam, but he's hurted when he step over the beam. ]
[Zhada probably designed the trap to work counter-intuitively.]
(er)350:Dessi's evil shadow -> Zhada's evil shadow
[SO: The original wording sort of makes sense, but I think this would be an improvement]
