(er)347:You tell him of your fall through the Shadow Gate, your flight from the storm and your encounter with the fierce Khozinda [If arriving from ref. 67, you didn't encounter the khozinda] [LeRoy McSwain, Jan 2007]
[tp: It seems possible, even likely, that the pair of creatures these hunters were chasing were Khozinda (section 112, cf. section 161; the Khozinda and the pursued creatures are both large red reptilians that live in this area). If this is so, then in section 112, a Khozinda runs towards the cairn which sheltered Lone Wolf from the storm... and then is abruptly mentioned no more, not even to say it kept going and didn't notice you. So it may be that JD had intended some sort of "encounter" with the beast in this branch of the book, but it got cut. Maybe. In any case, this is all pretty much irrelevant speculation, as the book as-is never identifies that creature as a Khozinda, nor do you really "encounter" it. So I think "and your encounter with..." ought to be cut from section 347. At most, my speculation might make an interesting note in the erratum.]
[SO: Also, serial comma before 'and']
[tp: No longer relevant if the Khozinda is cut from the sentence, but a simple matter of Manual of Style compliance if it's not.]

(ft)62, 95, 349:[SO: Change footnote to read: These bonuses are not cumulative—if you possess both Disciplines, you may only add 4 to the number you pick from the Random Number Table. It is unclear whether a Platinum Amulet should protect you in this situation in lieu of the Discipline of Nexus.]

(er)The Story So Far:shock wave -> shockwave
(ft)Equipment:[dv: There's a superfluous footnote (Nr. 2 and 4 are identical).]
[jb: There are identical footnotes because the text itself is redundant. It mentions twice that you can only carry 12 special items. I suppose we could remove footnote 4, however.]
[so: Let's keep the copied footnote unless/until we make the xsl more intelligent (i.e. so that multiple footrefs can point to the same footnote...]

(er)57:break free of their traces [LeRoy McSwain, Jan 2007: Is this OK?]
[dd: - yep, dictionary.com has "trace –noun 1. either of the two straps, ropes, or chains by which a carriage, wagon, or the like is drawn by a harnessed horse or other draft animal.... —Idiom 3. kick over the traces, to throw off restraint; become independent or defiant: He kicked over the traces and ran off to join the navy."]
(er)192:as if someone nearby were spitting an insect from their mouth -> ...his mouth [LeRoy McSwain, Jan 2007]
[tp: As much as I like to preserve usage of "he", "him", "his" as the impersonal pronoun and protect it from the political correctness brigade, I don't think we should go the other way and introduce it in place of impersonal "they", "them", "their".]
[jb: Yeah, we don't need to correct this kind of usage which is quickly becoming standard (nor do we need to enforce it).]
(er)211:There is T'uk T'ron,' she says fondly. -> 'That is T'uk T'ron,' she says fondly.
[so: No; it's acceptable to say, "T'uk T'ron is over there", so "There is T'uk T'ron" is fine.]
(ft)41:[jc: Should Jewelled Mace grant here +5 CS bonus?]
[so: "It is unclear whether a Jewelled Mace should add 5 to your COMBAT SKILL here (cf. Shadow on the Sand Section 253)."]
[DED: I'd be hard pressed to make a concrete case for the jewelled mace here - it would be a nice touch, but seems like wishful thinking to me.]
[jb: Agreed, it's hard to make a case here since no other magical weapon is mentioned.]
