New Statskeeper

Greetings,

We've just release our new version of Statskeeper into the wild. This is a completely rewritten version which we hope will be easier to use and more stable (stabler?). As experience has taught us, nothing is perfect at first, so please give it a shot and let us know where we can improve it. Enjoy! (that's an order)

  • Hi,

    I love the look of the new Statskeeper. Congratulations.

    I have a problem though. When I click "save" I get the message "session saved". Then I can change things and after clicking "load" everything goes back to the status when I clicked "save". That's ok so far.

    But when I close the window and reopen the Statskeeper I am not able to load any data. Everything is gone. It can't be a problem with cookies as no cookies are deleted without closing the browser (I just closed the tab). I am using Firefox.

    Is there a trick? The new Statskeeper is the best one so far, so I would like to use it. Can you help?

  • Yes, Andreas is right:
    i experienced the same problem.
    Using Firefox and also IE.
    So that's not a Browser dependent probelm.

  • Thank you for the report. I can't believe we missed this. Saved games probably worked at some point so we didn't think to test the final version. That's my theory anyway.

    We'll look into this, though it depends on volunteer time, as always.

  • It looks like the problem is fixed and will save correctly in the future. You may need to purge your cached copy of Statskeeper (e.g. in Firefox Shift-Control-R).

  • Doesn't seem to recognise the Lore Circle of the Spirit. No checkbox, no bonuses...

  • Question: when I load a saved session in stats keeper should I not be taken also to the last page I was viewing?

    At the moment all my stats get loaded correctly but I end-up stuck at the book choice page (maybe I am just missing something obvious)

    I think that the STATSKEEPER idea is really helpful and very well realized!
    Have you already planned to upgrade it in order to play the "NEW ORDER" adventures?
